Do I need to be an ALTA member to be eligible for AGDF grants?
No, you do not need to be an ALTA member to apply. But you should work in the land title industry.
What organizations are eligible for grants?
Recognized 501(c)(3)s are eligible for grants. The organization’s mission must align with that of the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation. We encourage organizations to be:
Nonpolitical
Nonpartisan
Focused on benefitting the local community
Focused on housing issues
After I submit my application, what are the next steps?
After the application window closes, the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation will review all applications.
Applicants will be notified of decisions about 6-8 weeks after the application window closes.
Will I hear back even if my organization is not chosen for a grant?
Yes.

Can I verify that my application was received?
After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email to the email address provided in the “Your Contact Information” section.
Can I edit my application once I have submitted it?
The application cannot be edited after it is submitted. There is no way to save a partial entry, so it is important to gather the required information before you begin.
How many times can I apply?
We ask that you limit yourself to one submission per application window.
If you did not receive a grant, you may resubmit the same organization in future application windows.
If you received a grant, you may submit other applications in future application windows.
Can an organization receive a second grant?
We will not award a second grant to the same organization until more than two years have passed since the first grant.
How many grants will be given out annually?
There will be two application windows per year with deadlines of January 31 and July 31.
